Filtron Coffee System makes a versatile coffee concentrate in a simple operation.

  • Pour 12—16 oz. of your favorite regular or coarse ground coffee into the Filtron System.
  • Add cold water to the mark on the inside of the bowl. Let steep overnight or up to 24 hours.
  • Next morning you have a liquid concentrate, enough to make about 45 cups. A second brewing with the same grounds gives you about 25 more cups.

Now you have a coffee concentrate.

    • What makes the Filtron Coffee System superior?

    Old fashioned boiling destroys aromatic oils that provide the true coffee flavor, while dissolving bitter oils, acids and sediment into the brew.

    The Filtron Coffee System is a cold water system.

    Oils. acids and sediment will not dissolve in cold water. They are thrown out with the grounds. Only the fine aromatic coffee essence is captured giving you pure, rich coffee flavor. Just as it has been done for centuries.
    Easy steps to the perfect cup of coffee.
    Insert plug in underside of Coffee Bowl. Place soaked filter pad tab up, firmly in recess in the bottom of the bowl. Use paper liner for easy clean up. Pour 12—13 oz. (16 oz. for stronger brew) of regular grind or flavored coffee in the bowl.
    Place the plastic grounds guard on top of the coffee grounds.
    Place water bowl on top, add water to the mark, let steep overnight or up to 24 hours. Only the Filtron System has a separate water bowl. Water drips slowly, completely saturating coffee.
    Remove plug. Let coffee concentrate drip into the unbreakable storage container. Store it in your refrigerator up to 6 weeks. Store at room temperature (75°) for 2—3 weeks.
    Makes up to 64 cups.
    Pour approx 1 oz. of concentrate into a cup, add 4—5 oz. of hot water.
